Purple and Teal Crochet Baubles

January 31, 2024 0 Comments
I know it's after Christmas, but I recently had a request to make a set of crochet baubles. I have several crochet bauble color options in my Etsy shop, and this customer wanted a set of the baubles in the same color scheme, so of course  I made them for her. 😊 And baubles/ornaments are always fun to make no matter what time of year it is. In fact, I plan on making some crochet heart baubles soon.

Santa & Reindeer Scarf

December 25, 2023 0 Comments
Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is enjoying the day and spending time with family and friends and good food! Anyhoo, I recently crocheted the Santa's Reindeer Sampler Scarf (pattern by Snappy Tots), and I've used this pattern before a couple times, but in the past, I never put Santa on the scarf. I think I was intimidated by his loopy beard. Well, I finally did it. I finally crocheted that loopy beard, and it turned out all right!

Crochet Snowman Ornament

December 05, 2023 6 Comments
As a crafter, I like to add handmade ornaments to my Christmas tree, and for several years now, I've had a Seahawks themed Christmas tree. Each year I buy and make a few new Seahawks themed ornaments to add to our tree. So I decided to make a snowman ornament with a green scarf and blue earmuffs, so he's wear Seahawks colors! 💙💚

Upcycled Christmas Baubles

November 07, 2023 10 Comments
For several years now, I've had a Seahawks themed Christmas tree. Each year I buy and make a few new Seahawks themed ornaments to add to our tree. So I decided to take a few old scratched up Christmas ornaments and turn them into crochet baubles with blue, green, and silver yarn. The yarn that I used has been in my stash for years. I used a skein of Red Heart Sports Team yarn and Red Heart Metallic yarn to create these fun baubles.

Seahawks Themes Christmas Tree 2022

December 27, 2022 0 Comments
For the past several years, I have decorated our Christmas tree with a Seahawks theme. I decorate it with blue tinsel garland, dark blue ornaments, green ornaments, silver icicles, and several Seahawks ornaments. I even crocheted a few Seahawks ornaments. Also, I place a crochet granny square tree skirt around the bottom of our Seahawks tree. I made the tree skirt with different shades of blue and green yarns. Usually, our tree is a prelit white tree with blue lights. However, this year.... We have a REAL Christmas tree. This is my frist time ever having real Christmas tree, even though my mom said her family had real trees when she was a kid; we never had a real tree. I always thought real trees were complicated and difficult, but they're not! You just need to water the darn thing! lol

Christmas Gnome Scarf

November 14, 2022 18 Comments

Yes, I'm back with ANOTHER gnome scarf! 😆 I absolutely LOVE the Fall Gnome Scarf pattern by Heidi Yates/Snappy Tots, so after making a Fall Gnome Scarf just like the original pattern, I decided to change it up to create a Halloween Gnome Scarf. And Since Christmas is next month, I couldn't resist creating a couple Christmas Gnome Scarves! No, I couldn't make just one... I had to make two!

Easy Upcycled Crochet Christmas Ornaments

November 01, 2022 20 Comments
Christmas is fastly approaching, so I figured it was time to get to work on some ornaments to add to my Seattle Seahawks themed Christmas tree. I usually buy a few new ornaments, but this time I thought it would be more eco friendly to create some new ornaments by upcycling some old ornaments that have lost their shine. I wanted to find a way to bring new life to some old ornaments that I haven't used in years, so I searched Pinterest and found a pin for a quick and easy way to upcycle ornaments with crochet. Since I have a Seahawks themed Christmas tree, I grabbed some blue and green yarn and a crochet hook and got to work!

Christmas Scarf Hat

Welcome to The Christmas in July Blog Hop! This month my blog friends and I are sharing our Christmas themed creations. Christmas is my favorite holidays, and I love crocheting Christmas themed creations. For this blog hop, I'm sharing a Christmas creation that is both a hat and a scarf. I decided to use my Addi Express King Size circular knitting machine to make this hat scarf. I found a video tutorial on YouTube for The Super Santa Scarf Hat, and I followed the instructions in the video to create my own Christmas scarf hat.

Crochet Kitty Christmas Baubles

December 11, 2021 6 Comments

Over the summer my family and I adopted an adorable kitty we named Maki, and in honor of her first Christmas with us, I crocheted a couple kitty Christmas baubles. Since she is a tuxedo cat, I made a black and white kitty ornament to look like her. I made an orange and white kitty ornament for the Christmas Trees on Parade Ornament Giveaway, so that one is currently on its way to its new home.

Christmas Trees on Parade: Crochet Baubles Tree

December 02, 2021 15 Comments

Christmas time is my favorite time of year, and I'm always excited about putting up my Christmas tree. This year I put our tree up a few days before Thanksgiving, but we didn't decorate it until the day after Thanksgiving. I wanted to give our kitty a chance to get used to it before I added the ornaments. She still ended up playing with an ornament around 4 am... Anyhoo, for the third year in a row, I'm joining Christmas Trees on Parade hosted by Terri Steffes of Christmas Tree Lane, and this time I'm sharing an ornament tree full of crochet baubles! And yes, I still have my Seahawks Themed Christmas Tree, and I even bought a few new ornaments for it. ðŸ˜ŠðŸŽ„💙💚 And just like last year, we're having an ornament giveaway. Each host will give away an ornament, so make sure you stop by each blog to check out their Christmas tree and enter their ornament giveaway as well. {Giveaway Closed}

Crochet Spiral Christmas Bows

November 16, 2021 17 Comments
Welcome to the November Pinterest Challenge! The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate us to not just pin, but to make it happen! Since Christmas is just around the corner, this month's theme is creative wrapping. I like the idea of having crochet Christmas bows on presents, and I like crochet spirals. I found a pin of a video of crochet curlicues in Christmas colors. So far I've only made a few bows, but I definitely plan to make more once I start Christmas shopping and get the tree up.

Crochet Christmas Table Runner

November 08, 2021 22 Comments
Last year I started crocheting a Christmasy table runner, but once I realized that I would not finish it in time for it to be on my table by Christmas, I set it aside. So when the time for the Christmas Craft Blog Hop arrived, I panicked for a minute while trying to figure out a Christmas craft real quick. And I searched through my yarn stashed when I happened upon my unfinished table runner! I did a happy dance as I grabbed the unfinished project and the Holiday Stripes Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn.

Dress Form Christmas Tree

November 19, 2020 7 Comments
Christmas time is my favorite time of year, and I'm always excited about putting up my Christmas tree. I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving to put up our tree, but over the last couple years, I keep putting the tree up earlier and earlier. This year, I put up my trees (yes trees) on November 7th. It was the day after my son's 6th birthday, and he and my daughter were very excited about putting up the Christmas tree. I like the idea of going from Halloween straight into Christmas. 😊🎄 And just like last year, I'm joining Christmas Trees on Parade hosted by Terri Steffes of Christmas Tree Lane to show off my Dress Form Christmas Tree. Don't worry, I still have my Seahawks Themed Christmas Tree. 😊🎄💙💚

Crochet Granny Baubles

November 17, 2020 17 Comments
After Halloween is over, I'm ready for Christmas! The stores are full of Christmas decor and Christmas craft supplies, and I couldn't resist buying a bunch of clear ornaments. I've already created several colorful Crochet Christmas Baubles, and then I found the crochet granny bauble pattern, and I saved it on Pinterest. I just had to make these granny ornaments! I knew these would be great to share for the November Pinterest Challenge! The purpose of the Pinterest Challenge is to motivate us to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month's challenge is all about Christmas projects, so I'm sharing my granny baubles I made from the Crochet Granny Bauble pattern. I also have a few Granny Baubles listed in my Etsy shop.

Welcome to the Craft Room De-Stash Challenge! My blogging friends and I are sharing projects we created using craft supplies already in our craft supply stashes. Since Christmas is quickly approaching, I decided that crocheting Christmas baubles would be an awesome way to use up some of my yarn stash.  I am so excited for this time of year that I put up my Christmas tree yesterday, and I can't wait to decorate it with these colorful baubles I've been making. So far, I've made twelve, and I have some listed in my Etsy shop.

Crochet Reindeer Scarf #2

December 16, 2019 8 Comments
Welcome to the December Craft Room De-Stash Challenge! This month I'm sharing a Crochet Reindeer Scarf. I've crocheted a Reindeer Scarf before, but I made this one a little bit different than the first one I made. To create this scarf, I used the Santa's Reindeer Scarf pattern by Snappy Tots.
