Easter Bunny Gnome Scarf

April 05, 2025 2 Comments
Since I've been making gnome scarves for holidays like Christmas, Halloween, and St. Patrick's Day, I decided that I migh as well make an Easter themed gnome scarf. As with my other gnome scarves, I created this scarf by following the Fall Gnome Scarf pattern by Heidi Yates/Snappy Tots and made some modifications. This pattern is so fun and can be made with a variety of color combinations.

Crochet Carrots for the Easter Bunny

March 17, 2020 19 Comments
Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge! In case you're new to the blog, the purpose of the Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month's challenge is about Spring Projects with a focus on Easter and Gardening, so I chose to share a couple Crochet Carrots! So far, I've made two, but I may make more to decorate my tiered tray. I found the pattern on Pinterest (Crochet Cuisine: Carrots).

Easter Bunny Hat Wreath

Since Spring and Easter are both just around the corner, I thought I'd share my Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Hat Wreath as my craft for the March Dollar Store Craft Challenge that I'm participating in with several of my blogging friends. For this challenge, we each create a craft using supplies from the Dollar Store.

Crochet Carrot Cupcake Scarf

What's the best thing to do with carrots? Make carrot cake/cupcakes! The carrot is one of my favorite veggies. I love snacking on raw baby carrots. I enjoy making (and eating) sweet baby carrots as a side dish. I love carrots in my salad. I also love carrot juice! I just love carrots!

Pink Easter Bunny Hat

April 15, 2017 3 Comments
Happy Easter! I recently crocheted this Top This! Bunny Hat for my daughter, and she loves it! It's still a little chilly here, so the weather is still cool enough for hats and scarves.  This hat was really fun and quick to crochet. The Top This! hats come with both knit and crochet patterns. I really love this yarn. It's so soft, and I love the different textures and color changes. So fun!

Hoppy Easter Crochet Socks

March 08, 2017 14 Comments
My goal for this year is to make things I've never made before, so here are my first pair of crochet socks! Since Easter is just around the corner, I decided to make my socks using pretty pastel colors from Caron Simply Soft. I love the softness of the yarn and all fun colors that are available with this brand. The colors I used are Strawberry, Robins Egg, Sunshine, Soft Orchid, Soft Green, and White. I've never made socks before, so I downloaded a pattern from Etsy (I didn't follow the pattern exactly, so my socks look different from the ones on Etsy). I've included instructions for making the bunny appliques below.

Crochet Frozen Easter Basket

March 26, 2016 3 Comments
So Easter is TOMORROW, and last night I finally finished my daughter's Easter basket for all her new Frozen goodies. Last week, I sewed a fabric Frozen Easter Egg Basket for her using purple Frozen fabric, and she used that basket for the Easter egg hunt we attended, which was so much fun, and she made a new friend.  We had a playdate at her new friend's house, and her mom put together another egg hunt, which was super fun! She had a bubble machine, so the bubbles floated through the air while the kids ran around the yard scooping up the eggs. Anyhoo... Here's the crochet Frozen inspired basket...

Frozen Easter Egg Basket

March 19, 2016 0 Comments
Yesterday, we participated in an Easter egg hunt, and this was my daughter's first time hunting for eggs on her own. She had a blast. For the event, I sewed a small fabric Easter basket for her to collect her eggs. I made a large Crochet Frozen Easter Basket to hold all her Frozen gifts and goodies. I made the fabric "basket" using the Friendship Bag Tutorial at PS I Quilt. I also used this tutorial to make a Halloween Trick or Treat Tote for my daughter a few years ago, so tutorial can be used to make all kinds of cute bags!

Crochet Easter Egg Wreaths

March 13, 2016 4 Comments
Last year for Easter, I created two similar Easter egg wreaths.  I made one for my mom and one for me. My mom took hers to work, and her coworkers loved it. Her wreath is my favorite because I love that it's on a grapevine wreath and has crochet lace. But I also love the chocolate bunny on my wreath.
