Crochet Easter Egg Wreaths

Last year for Easter, I created two similar Easter egg wreaths.  I made one for my mom and one for me. My mom took hers to work, and her coworkers loved it. Her wreath is my favorite because I love that it's on a grapevine wreath and has crochet lace. But I also love the chocolate bunny on my wreath.

This is the wreath that I made for my mom. To make this wreath, I followed the instructions for the Sugar'n Cream's Happy Easter Wreath pattern.

From my wreath, I made the eggs, but I didn't make the crochet lace. I used a styrofoam wreath form instead of a grapevine wreath. I freestyled on the chocolate bunny, and I didn't write down what I did, so I don't have a pattern to share for the bunny. I added pink and blue buttons for the bunny's eyes, nose, and mouth.

I'll admit that I like the wreath I made for my mom better, so I'll probably make the lace and put everything on a grapevine wreath for Easter next year.

  1. Fun Easter wreaths! I love the crochet eggs. I can see why you'd have a hard time picking a favorite. The lace detail on the grapevine wreath is gorgeous, but that bunny is adorable. Impossible to choose! Pinning!
PS I recently started a link-up of my own, I'd be thrilled if yous topped by and shared with us. http://www.mybusybeehives.com/2017/03/bee-party-5.html
