Crochet Carrot Scarves

Easter is just around the corner, and I've got bunnies, carrots, and Easter eggs on my mind! Today I'm sharing a couple Crochet Carrot Scarves I made . And while working on the scarves, I realized that I needed a carrot crochet hook, so I made one!
To create my carrot scarves, I followed a pattern by my favorite crochet designer, Twinkie Chan. The pattern can be found in her book,  Twinkie Chan's Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies: 20 Yummy Treats to Wear. The crochet carrot scarf pattern is really quick and easy to follow. The orange yarn is Big Twist yarn in Pumpkin.

Using stitch markers and a row counter really helps! Since I started crocheting the first scarf with my Pepperoni Pizza Crochet Hook, I used a pizza stitch marker and a pepperoni stitch marker...

...But then I decided that I needed a carrot crochet hook. So I made one! The green yarn is Red Heart in Spring Green.

I made this carrot crochet hook with Sculpey polymer clay in the colors Granny Smith and Just Orange and a Boye Crochet Hook. Of course, I had to make an itty bitty carrot stitch marker.

One completed Carrot Scarf!

To celebrate completing the Carrot Scarf, I had a piece of carrot cake. Yummy!

Then I decided to crochet some carrot cupcakes for a Carrot Cupcake Scarf.

The Carrot Scarf is listed in my Etsy Shop.

I made the scarves with different lengths. The scarf on the left is about 60 inches long, and the scarf on the right is about 70 inches long. The shorter scarf fits my 6 year old perfectly, so I think they'd be perfect as Mommy & Me scarves!
