Mask Making Mania!

After making over 200 masks, I have put my sewing machine back on vacation! I've made many masks for my Etsy shop and a ton for my family. Before the Corona Virus, I hadn't been sewing, but I had a big stash of fabric from when I used to sew baby clothes and mug rugs.  I started making the pleated masks, but then I gave the fitted masks a try, and I actually enjoy making the fitted masks more! Anyhoo, here are some of the many masks I've made:

I used my glass head to model the masks!

I made one of these for myself and a couple for my Etsy shop. Most of my masks are reversible and have pretty fabrics on both sides.

I'm selling some masks as sets in my Etsy shop. I loved making the masks in coordinating fabrics. I had several fat quarter bundles in my stash.

I made these with a red, gray, and white fabric bundle. These masks have a filter pocket.

I love the Wonder Woman masks! I had a lot of this fabric in my stash, so I used it to make several masks for my Etsy shop and for me and my daughter.

I made TMNT masks for my hubby and son, and I think there's one available in my shop. I really wish I could have gotten some Spider-Man fabric as well, but the fabrics I wanted were all sold out!

I found some patriotic fabric in my stash. This fabric is called Americana Heart.

I made these with a fat quarter bundle. These fabrics have some metallic gold designs on them.

I like Mickey and Minnie!

As a Navy Wife, I had to make masks with anchors and pink camo!

These masks would be perfect for the 4th of July.

I made a few masks with ties instead of elastic. My mother-in-law prefers this style.

I made masks with Think Pink fabrics (a breast cancer awareness fabric.)

I made these masks for me, my hubby, and our 2 kiddos.

Of course, I had to make Seahawks masks for my family. There are a few in my Etsy shop as well. My husband isn't a Seahawks fan, though...

I also had to make superhero masks for us all. My daughter loves it when she and I both wear our Wonder Woman masks.

Breakfast is such a great meal, so why not wear breakfast masks? I made a set for the whole family!

I made these for my daughter.

I made these for my son. I really like the Olaf fabric. My son informed me that he doesn't like the owl fabric I used to make the mask in this picture... But owls are cute!

I love this owl fabric, so I made these masks for me and my daughter. I also used this fabric to make a mask for my mother-in-law. She likes owls.

While making masks for my husband and son, I realized most of my fabrics were pretty girly... So I decided to upcycle some of my sons shirts into masks. (I only made masks from clothes for my family, not to sell. All masks for sale in my Etsy shop were made with new fabrics from Joann or the local fabric store.)

I made these from a denim and white striped shirt.

I made these masks from a shirt that I'm sure my son only wore once before he outgrew it. They grow up so fast!

I made all these masks from one toddler sized tunic. My daughter had a cute Calvin Klein tunic and pants set that she looked so adorable in when she was two. Since it was in wonderful condition, I tried selling it on Posh Mark and Ebay with no success, so I decided to make it into several masks for me and her.

I really love this fabric.

Here's a batch of masks of made and shipped off to my parents in Tennessee. My dad needs masks for work, and my mom needs masks to wear to her appointments and trips to the grocery store.

These are only a few of the masks I've made over the last couple months. I made a post in April of the first DIY Face Masks I made.

I still have a bunch of masks available in my Etsy shop. I have different styles and fabric options available. So have the nose wire and some have the filter pocket. So if you're looking for masks, check out my Etsy shop. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I love your masks. I have also made a bunch because my daughter needs them to match what she is wearing for the day. I think you have enough to do the same.
