7QT: Preparing for a Craft Fair

While I prefer to crochet and sew items just for family, friends, and myself, a friend asked if I'd do a craft fair with her. So I agreed. I've been to a couple craft fairs as a shopper, and they seem fun. So I've been busy crocheting hats for the craft fair. I'm doing a creating a lot of Seattle Seahawks inspired hats because a lot of people love the Seahawks around here. So check out what I've been up to below...

---1---
Here in the Pacific Northwest, many people LOVE the Seattle Seahawks, so I'm crocheting a bunch of Seahawks themed hats.

---2---
I've made a few of these Seahawk inspired hats, and I even sold one on Etsy recently. I also made a Seahawk hat with a bow (and matching booties) as a gift for a friend who had her first child a couple months ago. I'm going to make a few more in baby sizes for the craft fair.

---3---
I love sock monkeys, and these sock monkey hats in Seahawk colors are so much fun to make. I am definitely making several of these in baby sizes for the craft fair.

---4---
I've been trying new crochet patterns and yarns. My usual go-to yarn is Caron Simply Soft, but I've recently tried Loops & Thread Impeccable yarn, I Love This Yarn, Lion Brand Scarfie yarn, Rock yarn, and a few other brands. And I've really enjoyed working with the other yarns. I've even bought a few new hooks, too. Anyhoo, this hat is made with the puff stitch and Impeccable yarn. This color is called Seaside, and it reminds me of Seahawk colors. I will have several puff stitch hats for sale at the craft fair in various colors because this hat is quick and fun to make.

---5---
This is another fun pattern I found at the Whistle & Ivy blog. I call this the Seahawks Love Heart Slouchy Hat. I love the hearts! I've also been making Carolina Panthers inspired hats for my parents, and I want to make a heart hat in Panthers colors.

---6---
These are the Carolina Panthers inspired hats I made for my parents. I love these colors.

---7---
These are Brain Waves Beanies, and since I really liked the two I made in Panthers colors, I made another in Seahawks colors. I will be making more in Seahawks colors for the craft fair. This pattern is fun and easy once you get the hang of it.

  1. Good work! The hats should all sell - I do several Bazaars and everyone wants a Seahawks colored hat, but I am not a football fan. Good luck ;-)
