Warm and Toasty Fingerless Gloves

I enjoy making food inspired crochet  accessories,  so I decided to crochet toast gloves to match my Toast Scarf. I plan on making more food themed fingerless gloves, and I've also already created a pair of Pepperoni Pizza Fingerless Gloves for a friend. These gloves are a fun and quick project.

These are the yarns I used to create these toasty gloves: Vanna's Choice Beige, Red Heart Soft Toast, and Caron Simply Soft Sunshine. I love that there is a actually yarn color called Toast!

To create these gloves, I followed a pattern for fingerless mittens in the book Twinkie Chan's Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies: 20 Yummy Treats to Wear.

I crocheted the cuff with the Red Heart Soft Toast yarn.

I used the Vanna's Choice Beige for the rest of the glove.

I used Caron Simply Soft Sunshine to crochet the butter.

I made these gloves to match my Toast Scarf thinking that someone would buy them together as a set...

However, someone ordered the Toast gloves and a Bacon and Eggs Scarf. How clever! 😁 I'm currently working on another Bacon and Eggs Scarf for my Etsy shop, and I'll definitely make another pair of these toasty gloves.

  1. These gloves are so cool! They kind of remind me of pancakes. I love them paired with both the bacon and eggs scarf, and the toast scarf - sooo fun! Scheduled to share.
