Crochet Halloween Scarf

Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year! I used to really enjoy dressing up, but now that I have children, I enjoy dressing them up in fun costumes and making crochet accessories for their costumes. Well, I recently stumbled upon several fun Halloween themed crochet patterns by Snappy Tots, and I really liked this Halloween scarf pattern, so I made it. It was fun to make! My favorite part of the scarf is Frankenstein. I did make a few changes to the original, but for the most part, I followed the pattern.

his scarf features many color changes. For this scarf, I used Caron Simply Soft in Pumkpin, Pistachio, LimelightBlack, Sunshine, Purple, Gray Heather, and White.

Once I finished the body of the scarf, it was time to add the fun Halloween characters!

Jack O'lantern and the Bride of Frankenstein... Crocheting her hair was fun!

witch and her hat... In the pattern, a piece of tulle is used to create the bow, but I decided to crochet a purple bow.

black cat and skull... I made the skull a little differently than in the pattern.

 Frankenstein and a bat

In the pattern, this part is supposed to have colorful ghost eyes made with yarn and buttons, but I decided to add spiders instead. There is also a green section in the scarf that features a couple spiders.

pumpkin!

There's also a candy corn section in this scarf. Yummy!

This Halloween Scarf is approximately 70 inches long and 4 inches wide, and it's available in my Etsy Shop!

  1. What a fun scarf! I drool over Snappy Tots patterns all the time, but haven't actually worked up any yet. I will definitely need to add this one to my list for next Halloween.
