Corner to Corner Dishcloths

It's time for the November Craft Room De-Stash Challenge, and this month I'm de-stashing some of my Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn by using it to crochet some corner to corner dishcloths.  I have way too much yarn. So I love the Monthly De-stash Challenge. It motivates me to use up yarn and not buy more! Anyhoo...

I have my yarn grouped together by brand, and this is my basket of Lily Sugar 'N Cream yarn.

I like making dishcloths with the corner to corner stitch. They work up pretty fast. Since Christmas is near, I decided to use my Lily Sugar'n Cream Mistletoe yarn.

I increased until I had about 8 inches...

Then I decreased...

Once the square was finished, I added a green border.

All done! I plan to make more corner to corner dishcloths to use up all this yarn.

Last year for Christmas, I made a bunch of corner to corner dish cloths, and I sent them to my aunts and my mom as Christmas gifts.

The variegated yarn is called Field of Dreams, and it's my favorite Lily Sugar'n Cream colorway. I also love the purple yarn.

I also love camo!! I sent this one to my mom since she is a retired Army wife.

And here are the Christmas dishcloths. I will be sharing a pattern/tutorial for the Gingerbread dishcloth in a few days for the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop, so be sure to stop by again soon to check that out!

Every month a group of bloggers are challenged by C'mon Get Crafty to create a new craft or project from their own stash of goodies! Everyone is allowed a $10 allowance for necessities to complete their project (i.e. paint brushes, glue, etc), but the bulk of it must be created from their own stash of goodies. Check out some awesome creations you might be able to make from your own stash! #CraftRoomDestashChallenge
