Miscarriage Awareness Bracelet

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and like many women, I have suffered a miscarriage... two actually. After reading other women's miscarriage stories on a few blogs and in Facebook groups, I decided to make a miscarriage awareness bracelet to honor and remember my two angel babies.

This double bracelet is perfect for this project. Since the miscarriage awareness ribbon is pink and blue, I put pink beads on one strand and blue beads on the other.

So... I have a confession... The bracelet in this picture doesn't match the one in the picture at the top of this blog post because I actually lost this bracelet for a bit. And I was so upset!

I went online and ordered a ton of new pink and blue beads and Miscarriage Awareness Ribbon beads. However, I was not able to find another double bracelet. So I made a replacement bracelet, but I wasn't totally happy with it, so I kept looking for the original bracelet. And I found it! But then I decided to redo it and added some of the new beads I bought to it to create the bracelet I have now.

I love the foot and safety pin.

Here's my new and improved Miscarriage Awareness Bracelet in honor of my two angel babies (June 2013 & February 2014). After suffering these two losses, I was blessed with my rainbow baby who will turn two next month.
