White C2C Crochet Throw

A couple years ago, I made a white crochet throw for my mom using the corner to corner (C2C) crochet stitch. I learned to do this stitch by watching a video on YouTube, and it's one of my go-to stitches for making blankets. I made this one as a Mother's Day gift for my mommy.

Bernat Home Bundle is one of my favorite yarns, and I've used it to make several blankets for my family. I love the that there are four different yarn textures in the bundle. It's so fun to work with, and it's a chunky yarn, so they projects work up really fast.

I crocheted this blanket with a 8mm crochet hook. I have three different 7mm crochet hooks, and I used all three to make this blanket!

This blanket is sooooo soft and thick.

There was a power outage, but I didn't let that stop me from crocheting!

I used about 10 balls of the Bernat Blanket Bundle yarn.

I added fringe!

I need to make one for myself. I think it looks great in my room!😉

My mother has the blanket on a blanket rack in her guestroom.

I enjoy crocheting projects for friends and family. I've been working on a scarf for my mom off and on. Hopefully, I'll have it ready by her birthday in a few months. Thanks for stopping by, and check me out on Instagram (@SewCraftyCrochet) to see what I'm currently working on.😁

  1. Definitely looks good in your room - love the theme!

I have been wanting to try this yarn out, but it's such a big investment to make a throw.
