I'm not really into football. In fact, I only watch it once a year... Last year, I was so glad to be back in WA and glad that the Seattle Seahawks had made it to the Super Bowl, so I made crochet Seahawks hats for my kiddos to wear while we watched the game. I know this year, the Seahawks didn't make it (Boo!), and since I was born in NC, I should have crocheted some Carolina Panthers hat for this year's Big Game, but I didn't... Shame on me! I'll probably make a set of Panthers hats or something for my parents. They really love the Panthers... Anyhoo... I feel like since I live in and love WA, I have to represent the Washington's team!
This hat features 2 braids, a flower & leaf, and a pom-pom.
my son's hat... This was my first time making a hawk face.
For both hats, I use Caron Simply Soft's dark country blue, lime limelight, white, and heather.
