Last Month for the Pinterest Challenge, I shared a Paintbrush and Palette Scarf. I just finished another, and I did this one a little different. This time I decide to crochet the palette separately and sew it onto the scarf, but the scarves are pretty much the same...
The tip of this scarf has red paint (Vanna's Choice Scarlet
). I used Red Heart With Love Metallic in Silver
for the ferrule. For the brush bristle portion, I used Vanna's Choice Beige
. After the ferrule portion was complete, I crocheted the scarf handle with Red Heart With Love Black
yarn.
Since Caron Simply Soft
has so many beautiful and bright colors, I searched my stash of Caron for colors to use for the paints on the paint palette. The Caron Simply Soft
colors I used are Harvest Red
, Persimmon
, Sunshine
, Kelly Green
, Cobalt Blue
, Purple
, and Watermelon
... And the white yarn is also Caron Simply Soft White
.
I used a large needle
to sew on the paint colors.
Once I finished the palette, I sewed it onto the scarf.
The paint palette adds a bit more fun to the scarf.
This scarf is approximately 71 inches long and 4 inches wide.
This scarf is currently available in my Etsy shop!
Thank so much for stopping by and checking out my scarf!!!
