Crochet Popcorn Scarf

One of my favorite crochet scarves to make is the Popcorn Scarf. Popcorn is one of my family's favorite snacks. In fact, since it's my daughter's birthday weekend, we're going to watch our favorite movies and snack on yummy popcorn!  Unfortunately, it is way too hot to wear popcorn scarves, but we'll wear them this fall for sure! To make this scarf, I followed Twinkie Chan's pattern in her book Twinkie Chan's Goodies for Fashion Foodies.

To create this yummy scarf, I used Caron Simply Soft yarn in Harvest Red, White, and Sunshine.

First, I crocheted the red and white striped popcorn bucket. I really like this part! Coffee is involved with most of my crochet projects...

.Once all the buckets were done, I added the popcorn using the  Sunshine yarn.

Adding popcorn to the buckets... Yum!

I sewed all the buckets of popcorn together. Now, each bucket needs the word, "POP!"

I crocheted circles and stitched the word POP on each.

I needed a snack.... POPCORN!!!

See... It really does look like a popcorn bucket!

I did make one change to the pattern. Instead of cutting out the word POP in felt, I stitched the word onto the circle.

I love the texture of the popcorn.

All done!

I will add this Popcorn Scarf to my Etsy shop really soon!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
