Goldmine Undulating Waves Blanket

My favorite blanket pattern ever is the Undulating Waves Blanket. I found the fun pattern on the wrapper of  Loops & Threads Charisma yarn.  A couple years ago, I made a Undulating Waves Blanket with Loops & Threads Charisma Mountain Majesty. This time I decided it would be fun to crochet this blanket with Bernat Mix Home yarn.  I have a large amount of this yarn in my stash, and I'm working on using up my massive stash of yarn. I have over 10 balls of this yarn in my stash. I really love this Goldmine Bernat Mix Home yarn, and I thought it would make a great blanket for my mom's sunroom. I also have about 17 balls of the Bernat Mix Home Foliage yarn, and I plan on using it to create the same blanket for myself.

I really love the textures in this yarn. I think it works well with the waves in this pattern.

To finish off the blanket, I added a reverse single crochet border. 

For a yarn with so much texture and a pattern with so much going on, I like to add a simple border like the reverse single crochet border.

I worked on this blanket while my family and I were in the process of moving. We stopped in TN where my parents live, and I finished adding the border at my mom's house. I gifted it to my mom, and she loves it. Great! But if she didn't like it, I would've had no problem keeping this blanket for myself! LOL
