Not only do I like to have a wreath on the front door to our home, but I also enjoy making wreaths to hang from my kids' rooms. So I created a cute Thanksgiving wreath for my daughter's door using a foam wreath kit that I purchased from Michael's. The kit came with a brown foam wreath form, colorful and glittery leaves, and a white Thanksgiving banner. Of course, I had to add my own touches to the wreath!
I glued the foam wreath to a wooden wreath form to make it more sturdy. Then I glued on the leaves.
I made the squiggly line using a gold glitter glue pin and glued on the turkey.
I also glued on a wooden shape that says, "Give Thanks."
Once all the glue dried, I hung the wreath from my daughter's door using a regular wreath hanger, but the hanger covered up part of the give thanks sign. So I attached a green ribbon to the back of the wreath, and then hung it from the wreath hanger. And the wreath is hanging on my daughter's door right now.
